 Reykjavík Cruise Terminal Officially Opened Today (31 May 2026)

Good news for cruise visitors arriving in Reykjavík. The upgraded cruise terminal named VÖR was officially inaugurated today, improving passenger flow and visitor facilities at the port.


If you’re visiting Iceland by cruise ship this season, allow some time to explore the terminal area and plan your transportation into the city. Reykjavík’s city center is only a short drive away, and many of Iceland’s famous attractions can be reached on day tours from the port.
